Field improvements for 2010

Post by Arnold869 on Wed Feb 24, 2010 7:52 pm

I was thinking of;

- Blockade boarder crossing in the middle of the field with 2 guard towers and a drop gate between them.

- Far end of the field where the Ammo dump is, I was thinking of another guard tower.
This is where I was thinking of putting Dutchy’s Fort, in that clearing.

and

- Building Portable walls, 4x8 portable sections with ramdon windows and doors.
This way I can move and stand-up buildings, depending on the game we are haveing. (to mix things up)

I would like to see a complete trench with sand bags that's already partially up in the middle (to far end) of the field. I would be more than happy to help dig and finish it up on the April 24th, 2010 build day.

The problem I see is that you are not going to get a trench and the sand bags filled in one day (unless you are using a back hoe), not sure how many trenches you have dug, but its not a quick process (unless someones shooting at you), maybe Arnold can just keep the workers under fire, to quicken the production.

A battle trench can be dug in less then 2 hrs. easly. (with the right motivation)
Once dug, then you start the finer details like gernade pit, over head cover and reveding for the walls.

Hey I am all for it, I agree it "can" be done...as long as you provide the motivation (there tends to be a lack of it). I say POW work-camp rules, you stop working you get shot in the ass. Very Happy
